At Vatnahalsen we offer high-quality ingredients from the local community. There are many local food producers in the region and we work closely with several of these. We pick up organic vegetables in Aurland, and pork from Haugen Gardsmat in Flåm. Our goal is to serve meat from animals that have grazed in the mountain areas around the hotel, this includes lamb, deer and goat. We want to serve our guests a hearty meal, where food and drink reflect the nature and history around us. We call it the taste of Skarvheimen.

In the restaurant you will find one of our best views. The large windows provide natural light and a nice view towards the Reinunga lake.

We offer a healthy breakfast buffet with cereals, fruit, traditional cold cuts and fresh bread.

Lunch is usually a rich buffet of salads, tasty vegetable dishes and hot dishes, as well as a sweet ending ( Group minimum 20 pax )
